The process of canceling a request can vary depending on what status the request is currently in.
Requests in unfilled or retry can be cancelled at any time.
If the request is in pending because it has been matched with a lender but has not been marked shipped by the lender, open the request in full view, select "request cancel" from the list of available statuses, and submit.
This moves the request into pending cancel status. The lender will need to confirm cancel in order to cancel the request.
If the request has been marked shipped by the lender, the request can no longer be cancelled.
